    I thought the food was good, service was reasonable, but the prices were a bit over the top for what you get.

    Could not have been more disappointed with this restaurant. We had a 7:30 reservation on a Wednesday night. We were told we needed to order our food immediately as the kitchen was closing at 8pm. We ordered a dozen natural oysters for our entre and they were fine, nothing fantastic but good. My husband ordered a rack of lamb and I ordered the fish special. While waiting for our meals, I was surprised and disgusted at the conversation coming from the open kitchen. Some glass between the kitchen and the dining room would be a worth while investment for this restaurant. My husbands lamb was extremely over cooked to the point that the meat was tough and chewy. My meal was the main concern, apart from looking like a first week apprentice had put it together, there was a hair sitting on top of a piece of potato. The staff kindly asked if I would like my meal replaced and I said it was okay and pushed the potato to the side of my plate and just asked that the staff let the kitchen personel know. I heard the staff tell the kitchen personel that there was hair in my meal and the kitchen personel rolled eyes and told staff it is not hair, it is saffron. Funny that the kitchen personel can be so certain of this without even inspecting my plate. Not to mention the insult I felt that they obviously thought I was an idiot that I cannot tell the difference between the 20 strands of orange saffron on my plate and the black hair that fell out . The fish was also served with baby leeks. The baby leeks were in fact spring onions that were burnt black. When we had finished our meals, we were not offered dessert, I am assuming that was because it was 8:10pm and all the kitchen staff had left the kitchen. I was so embarrassed that I had taken my husband to this restaurant. I could not wait to get out of the place. The food was of a very very low standard and it was extremely over priced.

    Simply amazing. The pasta is fantastic and the lamb was perfectly cooked. Great place to dine. Better suited to adults but they do cater for children also. It is great to have such a nice resturant so close to home. Order a cocktail to they are yummy.

    A bunch of us went to SDs for dinner a couple of weeks ago. Great location; food was delicious and worth the cost (great deal with the dessert!). The staff were efficient, courteous and friendly. It was an excellent night.

    This restaurant has great value for money. I had dinner there for my birthday and Boy! what a fantastic time was had by one and all. service was great, Food beautifully presented and pretty classy place to boot.
    definetly worth a return visit.
