In 2001, our business began with the philosophy that the customer should be able to choose how much or how little he or she wants to be involved in the hands-on moving process. To this day, the choice is still yours. 

We believe this simple philosophy is the reason Scotty's - "The Movers!" has grown from one man, a ute and an idea, to the leading furniture removalist and transport service it is today!

At Scotty's - "The Movers!" we provide:
the right vehicle for your job
the trolleys and specialist lifting equipment needed for safety and efficiency 
the furniture pads and straps necessary to protect and secure your goods
the Professional Crew that you will want back every time you move

You decide if you want us to send out an Experienced Crew to do the entire move for you, or simply a truck (still complete with trolleys, pads and straps) and one Professional Removalist who can help you get the job done quickly. Either way, you only pay for the work you want us to do. 

Once the furniture move is completed, just let us know if you would like help with anything that needs to be thrown out. We're happy to come back and take a load or two of rubbish to the dump for you. 

Simply put, this business is dedicated to a good quality, inexpensive service that will make life easier for you - our valued customer!

    Hi,
    I'm more than happy to provide some feedback, as the standard of service provided by your staff was excellent. It was without a doubt the smoothest and best move I have had, and your two guys the best to deal with from any company I'd engaged before. They were friendly, professional and efficient - I can't say any way in which they could have been better.

    I've already given a general recommendation of Scotty's to friends and colleagues who asked me how the move went, and I will be giving more particular recommendations when the opportunity arises.

    I have written up a card in reference to thanks however didn't have a postal address. This is the first time I have used a removalist and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service! All the guys were extremely polite, professional and worked bloody hard the entire time they were on the job; Very impressive indeed. Well worth the money and was amazed at how careful they were with my belongings which was very important as I had a few big/heavy/difficult items of furniture that I thought would take 3 guys to move as it took 4 of us to get it in and as easy as anything 2 of your guys picked it up and had it loaded on the truck safe and sound; Much relief that there was no damage done.

    It also stood out that they were very organised, planned out what was going in first through last and before I could look around it was all on the truck ready to go. All the guys were friendly and even though I kept giving them more and more things to load (due to how impressed I was) they said "No problem" and loaded the extra items. I will also note that I had my handbag sitting on the kitchen bench along with cash and other valuables, and am pleased to say that they weren't touched, so great trust factor also; These items were out of my sight for much of the removal process.

    I have recommended your team to my family and friends and everyone at my work and you should give the boys a pat on the back for their professionalism and hard work, I wouldn't hesitate to have them to help in the future should I plan another relocation. Please pass on my thanks to the boys.

    Please thank the young men you sent out to move us. They were hard working, well mannered, and very professional. We were also impressed at how fast but carefully the guys worked. We have moved 3 times in the last 3 years and have never had service like your staff gave us. We had been so unhappy with our last move by another company (our piano and an antique chest were damaged badly), I posted on social networks to see who my friends would recommend. I had 4 recommendations for your company (out of a total of 6). I checked out your social network page & your website. You had some great reviews, I liked what I saw with regard to how you run your business (and I am pretty picky!!). My husband was extremely happy too.

    Thanks again for a great service. I will be recommending you to anyone who asks me in the future and we will definitely use your company again.

    Terrible removalist. By far the worst I have ever used.
    I got a completely different service.........this company is obviously hit and miss..........I won't be taking the risk with them ever again

    We have moved house many times. This is the single worst removalist we have ever used. It is almost inconceivable how many things were stuffed up, damaged, got wrong et c etc etc........and then denied all of it and would not return our calls.

    First of all we booked a large truck and 3 staff.......we got the medium truck and 2 staff. WE called the management who said that it would not be any difference in price in the end.....they disagreed and we ended up paying more than $600 more than originally quoted.
    They left stuff behind at the old house.
    The old and the new house and pot plants and furniture were damaged.
    They recommended that we leave our food in the chest freezer because the move would be quick........it wasn't........over $100 of food perished.
    The move was going so slow the 2 staff rang the management again and got 2 other staff for the afternoon...........they sat around doing not much at all, yet we got charged full rate for 4 staff.
    These were just the main issues.......there were quite a few smaller issues as well
    When we rang to complain, the management was extremely defensive and unhelpful and denied all of the story........how would they know? They weren't even there. They said they would confirm these issues with the staff on the job and get back to us..........needless to say they have never got back to us...........Why would they? They overcharged us by $600.

    Terrible service, terrible management.

    I was extremely satisfied with the service I received from Harry and the young gentleman that delivered my treadmill. From the moment I spoke to Harry on the phone firstly to get a quote , then when I rang back and made a booking I got amazing service.

    I did receive lower quotes but it was the great customer service I experienced that made me go with your company. They arrived 15 mins before time - which is fantastic when you are having someone else waiting to have something collected from their house, then they arrived promptly at my house therefore not taking the longest route and clocking up more time/money. Both myself and the person I purchased the treadmill from found the gentleman very polite and respectful.

    I will certainly be using and recommending your company again.

    Hi Graeme,

    Firstly, your response to the on line enquiry was fast and friendly, whereas I was getting calls from other companies a day or 2 later.

    Secondly, your price was competitive. Not a problem.

    Thirdly, the 2 guys were punctual and really nice guys. This is VERY important, and we appreciated the fact that they were efficient, but also friendly.

    It made our moving day a lot easier!

    I wanted a company that I could be sure was reliable, and would come when they said they would. I chose Scotty's even though it was the most expensive quote, as they had good reviews here and seemed on-the-ball when I phoned for a quote. But I was disappointed:

    I booked three weeks in advance and asked them to come in the afternoon. They suggested 12 noon which I agreed to, and I then arranged to go to the new place on the morning of the move to do some preparations. But at 8am on the day, Scotty's phoned me and asked if they could come at 9am instead. I said that really wasn't convenient, but they insisted. I asked if they could at least lower their hefty $94 call-out fee (compared to $60 of other companies I looked at), in compensation for them changing the time at their convenience. But they refused and said "Well is says in our terms and conditions that we can change the time". I wasn't pleased.

    The staff who did the move were pretty good (except when the other staff bashed the fridge into the wall while manoeuvrings it out and chatting on the mobile, making a ding in the wall). But overall I don't think it is worth paying a premium rate.

      In your reply you seem to have confused me with someone else. This is certainly not my move you have commented on: I didn't pick up keys on a Thursday afternoon, there was no 5pm issue discussed, my fridge door was not damaged and you are not replacing it. I have provided a fair and truthful account of my experience. I hoped that you would respond in a more constructive manner.

      Sounds like Scotty's to me. They have provided a terrible service at a premium rate and they don't take the time; and the management in the office are rude and do not do what they have said they will
