Great location for Seaworld. Loved the water park. Hotel's pool not so great but the kids pool amuzed them for hrs. The food was great also and the service was AMAZING. Can't fault them.
Rooms were good, we had a spa suite, view not great and too much light coming into our room but they put sheets up to block the light, didn't mind as long as we got to sleep. Would recommend if travelling with children. Reception staff also great. We had a lovely time.

the hotel is over rated, old, gloomy with a room with view on a back hoe. excellent place if you cant see.

We have just enjoyed a 4 night stay here with the kids and some friends visiting from interstate. It was fabulous. The pool area is superb for young kids - they play all day. We ate out a bit but had the buffet breakfast every day which was fantastic value because we bought a Dining Plus card from the resort. Gives you 50% off so breakfast is a bargain and there is plenty to choose from. My favourite food at the resort though is the Japanese restaurant there. Very high quality and the food was excellent. They have some really great deals going there now and I would recommend it to any family with young children. These are the holidays that childhood memories are made of and I am glad I got to give that to my kids.

We have been staying here for 5 days now and we have another 5 to go. So far the stay at this place has been good. The staff are friendly and this place is very appropriate for a young family not looking for any childcare for kids under 5 as their kids club caters for childcare 5 years and over. You can get childcare in rooms but im not particularly interested in that.
The house keeping is great, very clean! I feel that the rooms are very modern and the pool areas my kids cant get enough of. This place has everything so local. You can do any water sport you want here from water park to boats, water skiing, kayaking etc.

I would come back here when my kids are older because i miss the childcare we got at Paradise Resort but sea world resort is definately a place you have to take your kids once in their life because its a very exclusive feeling staying here.
If you like cooking your own food then this place isnt a place to stay because all you get is a hot water jug.

Terrible rooms, no view, furniture obsolete but clean, nice staff, but not to go back, one of the worst overrated places

My family all bought annual passes to sea world when they were on sale for half price. Admittedly, if you make use of their annual pass you will save a lot of money. The rides are fun, kids love the animals, and it's a guaranteed fantastic day out. The new Dolphin cove is absolutely amazing, and their show is breathtaking. However, the food is horrible and I would only buy food from the "pub" within seaworld or take your own. For an extra special experience you could swim with dolphins or sharks, or ride the helecopter. My father and I took a helicopter ride years ago, and while it's not cheap... it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience something special. The corkscrew rollercoaster is great fun to ride too if you aren't afraid of coasters.
