Run by family, the atmosphere here lets you become part of it. The teachers understand children through generations of experience, and your children are treated just as their own, with the professionalism and care you would expect.

As well as just dancing for fun, you can also have the chance to learn the different genres of the theatrical world here. There are loads of opportunities to become part of something more aswell - with performance of pantos and concerts around the community and further afield, during the year. They also do competition work which is always very successful around Queensland.

My children started at SADC several years ago now and they have never had a more encouraging and positive experience. They have learnt to become positive and successful performers, which benefits them for life, as well as become part of a huge supportive team environment. You couldn't ask for more dedication and commitment from the teachers or the principal, Mrs Alback herself.

As for cost, you couldn't find somewhere in this game that could give you better value for money - it is actually affordable! The tuition is professional, with a first-class concert offered at the end of the year for all families to be part of. You have the chance to join the adult class too - which also has a part in the end-of-year concert.

Also during the year, the studio comes together for various 'family' get-togethers in various forms. This keeps the special 'family' spirit alive which I am glad my children are a part of. What a great 'life' gift. Thankyou to all staff and Mrs Alback at SADC!

If you want to be a part of something special, we couldn't recommend a better place to enjoy the experience of dance and the arts.

My pre-schooler started dancing this year and is mostly enjoying it. Like all kids her age, she gets a bit restless and silly sometimes, however the teachers are very patient and understanding. I know she is learning because I often find her dancing around at home. Apparently she has been so excited about dancing at daycare that she is showing the other kids how to dance too!

Once kids are settled into the class for the first few weeks, parents sit outside in a waiting room (great place to make/renew friendships) and there is a grassy area for siblings to play, and most Saturdays a fundraising sausage sizzle. Is a very happy and friendly environment.

At the end of each term there is a parent showing day, so we see what they have been doing and we get to enjoy a little show. At the end of the first term, I was amazed at how many little dances they could do. Come end of year, there is supposed to be a show on stage. Will see how little miss goes with that, hope the nerves stay strong for her!! I think my 2 year son, will be asking for dance lessons soon too!

I have only had positive and rewarding experiences as part of SADC. Each of us students are encouraged to do our best in a comfortable and happy environment. No pressure is placed on any of us to join any teams or complete our exams, it is what WE want to get out of the dance centre that is what we do. In saying this, my teachers have always helped me dance to the best of my ability pushing me to my full potential. Through community work, we at SADC have become well respected in the Redcliffe area, but also in places such as Onoda, Japan, and Winton, QLD where we have travelled on tours. This is great fun, getting to perform in places where we are appreciated so much, including Retirement Homes and Festivals. We consistently place very highly in Dance Eisteddfods and complete our exams with flying colours. Mrs. Alback has worked very hard to grow SADC to where it is now, and I know that it will only continue to become even more established and successful as a studio. I fully recommend my wonderful dance studio to anyone else, the environment there is just so family orientated and fun to dance in!

Family orientated dance school with a very caring and helpful staff. The students are a very friendly bunch who try to make new comers as welcome as possible. No diva's amongst them.
