I'm a guy and unfortunately have a lot of facial hair, especially on my eyebrows. I was really reluctant to get them done because i didn't want them to look too manicured but in the end decided to get them tidied up. I was happy to see another bloke in the salon when i walked in. They did a great job at making them look really natural, tidy but still manly. I go back once a month or so.

I've had no hair on my brows for years as a result of over-plucking throughout my younger years - a friend recommended I get them tattooed. My initial reaction was ABSOLUTELY NOT but I sat on it for a while and eventually decided to give it a go! I thought - best at brows - sharon lee - give them a call. It was the best decision i've ever made. I was scared that they would turn green or make me turn permanently angry but my brows look absolutely natural and have made me look like a different person. They also offered me a touch up service where I could come back in a matter of weeks/months and have them touched up. Very very happy. I would recommend them to anyone.

Sharon-Lee can be very hard to see at times, but she works absolute magic. I don't have much hair on my eyebrows and have had trouble growing them for years but after a visit to Sharon-Lee my eyebrows have a new lease on life. I am a MASSIVE fan of their brow gels which give the illusion that my brows are thicker than they actually are. She has definitely earned her title as the best of the best.

I was recommended by a friend who has been a loyal client to Sharon-Lee since she started in William St. I must say that I had to be put on a waitlist and it was quite difficult to get in, but it was well worth it when I walked out feeling a million dollars. The staff were warm and helpful and I had no doubts about re-booking. A++

I had been two times previously and was asked to leave a deposit if I wanted to book the next visit. This was in early december. Come January when I knew I had an appointment approaching, I was surprised that I did not receive a confirmation call. I decided to walk down on Collins street to the salon as it was just around the corner from my work, only to find that they had moved! I asked the staff in the office at the time if they knew where they had moved, but they had no info to guide me. I then went on the website and read that there were no longer any Melbourne salons and that they moved to Sydney! Not only was I not informed by a simple phone call, but they had left with my deposit!
I called the salon in Sydney not long after and spoke to the staff about the issue and they said they could do nothing but take it to management.
I heard nothing back so called again. I was then advised that I needed to provide a copy of the purchase via a statement, which they could then reimburse me along with a letter to be written!! I did all of this promptly but never heard anything back. Each time i called and left messages, no one returned my call!
I would not recommend going here to anyone.

I understand that it can be a bit pricey but for me it was so worth it!!! I was greeted warmly when I entered the (stunning) store and was offered my choice of champagne, juice, water, tea/coffee and sat down to have a look through their newsletter which let me know about the new website and upcoming tours.. I specifically told the therapist that I didn't want my brows to be too thin and she showed me where she planned to take the hair and outlined the shape I was going to be given, which was perfect. I have never been happier with my eyebrows and can't believe I have neglected them for so long, they really do change your entire face! I was so shocked at how different I looked.

The staff were lovely and I had a great chat with the therapist who was doing my brows.

I often return to Sharon-Lee to touch up my brows and have recommended it to a few of my girlfriends who are now cult followers of the brand.

I purchased a voucher offer via the Cudo website to Give your brows the celeb wow factor for only $49 at Sharon-Lee! Includes champagne, canaps, tinting, waxing & more!

After hearing about the salon I was quite excited about going in, but I left with my eyebrows practically bald and in tears.

Sure the salon is prettily decorated, but it does seem to lack any soul. It doesnt help when the staff didnt really seem interested in any conversation with me. I was flying out to Thailand the next day for a 2 week holiday and was in a great mood when I arrived, but quickly shut up when all attempts at conversation were met with stony silence or grunts.

I stressed how important it was to keep my eyebrows as thick as possible while putting a nice arch in them and reducing the rounded curve they naturally have. I might have well have said do whatever you want to make me look like a 70s movie star tweezed within an inch of her life.

I couldnt work out what they were doing towards the end of the treatment, then I realised they were drawing my eyebrows in with pencil and eye shadows. I asked them to stop and let me look at what they were doing. I asked them to remove the eyebrow pencil and shadow so that I could assess what the brows looked like and was shocked when they wiped it all off me. I looked awful and they didnt seem to care. My once beautiful brows had been reduced to scrawny lines that could hardly be seen.

As anyone who has patiently thickened their eyebrows over many years will know, to have years of hard work undone by an uninterested staff is devastating. It was obvious how unhappy I was, but no one in the salon approached me and the staff just wondered off to leave me to clamber down from the chair and make my way out of the salon. The other staff had their head down when I walked past them so there was no How do you like them or even a friendly goodbye.

I agree about the salon and its staff lacking soul. Personally, I found the environment unfriendly and uncaring. I'll never go back again and I'll never recommend it to anyone. I think it's over-priced and over-rated. There are heaps of other salons that do a better job for a fraction of price compared to them.

Oh My Goodness - i can not believe i waited 37 years to do this. I am delighted with my new brows. A friend of mine insisted I visit The Eyebrow Emporium whilst in Sydney - the results are striking. I def recommend this to anyone who is yet to experience a place pretty much dedicated to creating perfect brows.

Never again! My skin is burnt! I had thought of visiting Sharon-Lee's salon for sometime now. I regularly go to a perfect eyebrow specialist whom is fantastic, but I thought I'd go all out & go to the infamous Sharon-Lee's salon. When the Cudo vouchers ad arrived I snapped one up & booked to have myself pampered by the staff that pamper celebs.

Expecting my 2nd child in 3 weeks I went off to the gorgeous building to be pampered & climbed all the stairs, was offered a drink (I really wanted the canapes and champagne that were mean't to be included in my voucher - but were not) I accepted a glass of water for now, I was huffing & puffing climbing all those stairs & having walked 2 blocks from where I got a carpark!

They started with removing my eye make-up (I piped up & told her I currently see a brow specialist, want to keep my shape and a natural colour) they said they'd just follow my brown pencil line with the waxing & put the brow tint over the top of it, they also applied an eyelash tint, but it didn't actually feel like anything was on, then they applied some pads which was meant to be the crystal collegen mask. I was offered head or hand massage, I chose hand massage which wasn't for very long & was very laisse faire. The cream was also potent in lemongrass scent (it stuck around right into the evening) too strong!

After having the lash tint removed, they preceeded to add hot was, when I say HOT i MEAN HOT.... I did tell them, WOW that's too hot & they said it could be because I'm pregnant & sensitive. (i tried not to complain) but then when they put it on the other eye, OUCH it was TOO HOT it was BURNING MY SKIN... OMG

I could go on & on, as I'm very disappointed & not happy at all. I also walked out with a $70 eyebrow gel that I thought looked Ok at the appointment, but realised they had just used it over my own brow pencil (I'm returning it to them, I used it once & it's orange colour, I'm blonde, not a good match), I can also shape & fill in my brows better than them!

After having gotten home, had a shower & washed my face, I'm completely mortified, my eyebrow skin is burnt, like an actual 3rd degree burn, my eyelids are wrinkled up in trauma & my brow & lash tints don't actually look done at all. :( I felt like crying! I feel ruined.

I'm very very sad about the whole experience, I was trying to go all out & make myself feel like a princess prior to having bub. I've emailed them my concern & I received a very prompt response from the management, which is a great gesture, but after having read the other comments here, I'm not sure I want to return there.

Good luck in finding another specialist, I can highly recommend Highbrow Transformations for a very professional eyebrow service.

Be warned - it would not surprise me if the only few positive reviews below are from management. I was shocked at the poor customer service provided considering the astonishingly high prices charged. The eyebrows are O-K but at the end of the day the therapist tried to hard sell me very expensive products and i was very rushed. I don't believe that just because a place offers you "champaign" that makes them a luxury service. Very, very disappointed.
