From the outside it doesn't look like much. In fact, it's surrounded by about 6 other mechanics all with much fancier and nicer looking buildings. But if you own an older car, maybe 2000 and under, this may be the perfect place for you. From the looks it's run by an older married couple, so you know the mechanic knows his stuff. And you have the advantage of a more intimate setting.
Just had a basic service, but when I explained I was having a wheel alignment next door after he was done he offered to take it over for me... very kind as this allowed me time to bus it home until it was 100% finished. He did a thorough check of the car while doing the service, and gave us a great DIY tip on how to get our cruise control working again. He also informed us that we'll need a new muffler soon.
Very please with his thoroughness, no1 has ever recognised the broken cruise control on a basic service before, not to mention a way to fix it without resorting to having it serviced!
