    This was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! We ordered the "Umami" selection for the smokeless barbecue. They brought out sashimi wagyu and then two different cuts of wagyu, pork belly, free-range chicken, ox tongue, and a sausage selection for cooking on the grill. The condiments included kim chi, whole grain mustard, three sauces, grated beetroot and daikon, and thinly sliced green onions. The quality of the meats and accompaniments was superb, and every condiment worked with every protein. We had our own little "room" to ourselves (very romantic!) and the waiter was attentive and very prompt. This is a must-visit if you love Japanese food and high-quality ingredients.

    Great place for fine dining. 1 Hat restaurant.

    However, the food is pricey. Great environment.

    Most of the staffs are Japanese, so it has more feel like Japanese environment.

    While the food here is quite expensive, it is definitely worth trying out this restaurant at least once, especially for a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. The service is great, even on a busy night, and the food is authentic.

    A romantic dinner for two or a fun night out with friends. You can have your own chief to cook right in front of you, to your liking. Just make sure you go there hungry because you will walk out extremely full. Very authentic Japanese restaurant! A definite must try if in the city of Melbourne!
