Not only did my driver speak no more than 2 words of English (making it nearly impossible to communicate where I needed to go) the inane driver charged me $170 for a 20minute journey. Because it was late at night I signed the receipt without looking and now it is going to take a full month for the correct fare to be recharged. Totally unacceptable - Silvertop. Terrible service from a terrible company. -

It's amazing how often I have to tell the driver of a taxi the exact directions of where I want to go - something I don't like to do as I am still relatively new to Melbourne and don't want them to take me the long way on purpose (I wouldn't know the difference!) They drive so slowly, often don't come when you call them, refuse to pull over when you're waiting at the side of the road, and are just unfriendly. Not a good service and they need to up their game!
