Simons Coffee Lounge is a friendly family run business that is bussy from openeing to closing. the food is carefully prepared with he highest standards of hygiene and quallified cheifs. It has a wonderful friendly atmosphere with happy bubbly staff willing to assist in any way. The management is beyond reproach.
The tasty Vitoria coffee is made by trained staff and is the only place in town i will get my coffee from. Staff will make it to your specifications and i always walk away satified.

Very disappointing! Slow service and less than average food. We had to flag our waiter down because they were too busy chatting with themselves at the counter. Don't be fooled by the crowds like we were!

I am very surprised by these reviews. I went here today with my mum and my Daughters. We had a tuna wrap, a ceasor chicken wrap, Kids sausages and chips and Kids hamburger and chips. The kids meals were quite large and only $6.50. We allso had a berry smoothie, a mocha and a cappochino plus a serving of pancakes. The food was great and the prices were great and so was the service. This place was crowded and i will be going back.

    Where to start...
The last time I ate at Simon's was about four years ago. It was brilliant. I ate at Simon's today and everything about it was atrocious. I ordered a vegetarian turkish burger (which was advertised as having tomato chutney and caramelised onions on it). My friend ordered pear and walnut salad.
When the meal came we were told the kitchen had run out of walnuts. The staff said she could go down to the shops and get walnuts but it was clear she did not want to, nor did she care if the walnut and pear salad was without walnuts (?).
So my meal was served up. I noticed the patty looked a bit dry, so I opened my burger and noticed that in place of tomato chutney I had...tomato sauce. In place of caramelised onion I had...raw Spanish onion. I asked the staff about the differences and told her I wouldn't have ordered the meal if I knew they were going to put raw onion on it- since I hate raw onion. She begrudgingly answered that the kitchen had run out of chutney. She said she 'guessed' she would go to the shop now.
Ten minutes later the staff walks back in the shop. My meal, which was never hot to begin with, is now cold. The staff brings out a small bowl or walnuts for my friend to add to her almost finished salad. I get a small bowl of chutney. I ask the staff if I can have new meal - before even finishing the sentence she goes: "Oh, you want a new burger then." Why not just make me a knew burger if you knew it would be cold before you got back??
I get my burger another ten minutes later. With chutney and dry patty but no caramelised onion. :s Very average meal, which I did not finish or like. The staff comes over at the end. We both have over half our meal left on our plates. She asks us how we enjoyed our meal, with massive attitude. I say the patty was dry and there was no caramelised onion. She snaps: 'You said you didn't like raw onion and we ran out of caramelised onion. So I told them to leave it off!' She then storms off. Surely the chef knows that caramelised onion is just cooked onion in some sugar/vinegar??
Perplexed by the whole experienced, we decided to leave. No discounts, no apologies and an empty stomach for the price of $15 is absolutely shocking in my opinion.
What a shocker all round and so frustrating.

My partner and I have been to this cafe a couple of times over the past few months. The service is always somewhat slow and the food is consistently luke warm at best. By the time we're halfway through our meals they are stone cold. We kept trying to give them more chances because Simon's had a good reputation with the previous owners.
But we went there again last Sunday for the last time. When we walked in, the only empty table needed to be cleared, so we sat down and waited for the waitress to come over. Shortly after, lots of other patrons had left. No one was waiting for their tables, but nevertheless the waitresses ignored us and cleared these tables while we were still sitting at a dirty one waiting just to see the menu. They continued to ignore us despite several attempts at eye contact and to get their attention, and even chatted to one another at the register despite having to walk right past our table at least a dozen times. A few more people came in and were served almost immediately while we continued to wait. In the end we left without having seen a menu, without our table having been cleared and without so much as a "hello" from a single member of staff there. The waitresses clearly couldn't give a damn about the customers and need a reality check.

Since moving to Windsor 12 months ago we have been frequent customers at Simons.
The service has often been slow but the food was always great.
However on 13th July we had a very bad experience there.
The manager was not on duty and there were only two staff doing the serving and there attitudes were appalling.
We waited for almost 40 minutes to order coffee.etc When we finally signalled one, they made a point of going to every other table in the cafe bar ours. (Mind you there were only two other tables in use so the staff were not over taxed! It was just more interesting for them to be having a chat at the register with each other!)
When one finally came to take our order they spoke to us in the most rude manner before snatching our menus from our hands and walking away with their hands on their hips.
Needless to say we left at this point.
What a pity that a cafe with so much potential is let down by poor staffing.
We will be going elsewhere from now on.

Met family for birthday lunch during the week. I had been to Simon's back in 2004 and it was lovely.
    Today it was absolutly horrible!
The service stinks to put it nicely. I ordered a chicken caesar salad which my 3 year old could have made alot nicer. Shredded lettuce took over the whole bowl. A few strips of bland chicken breast and I could count the pieces of bacon. NO egg, NO parmesan cheese, croutons were like concrete. I could not eat it at all. Left the cafe still hungry and whats more discusting is they charged for everything on the bill. No discounts given at all. The staff showed no remorse whatsoever.
A family member has a gluten free diet so was happy that they catered for him, but he was appalled as well wiith his meal.
I will not be reccommending this cafe to anyone, more to the point will be telling them to avoid it.

My friends and i where NOT impressed with this place at all.
The service sucked and the person who served us was rude and didnt look like they wanted to be there. And one of my friends asked for specific things on her meal, she got a chicken and mushroom sandwhich without the cheese and flavouring.
The person who served us needs to get it together and slap a smile on their face and be friendly, although we are a young bunch, we still deserve respect.
