    Simpatico keeps things low-key but that's possibly what sets it apart. The restaurant is contemporary, and the food is simple, delicious and affordable. Chef Rob Campbell is ex-Rockpool, Sydney, and his passion for food shows in his pork belly with green papaya and nahm prik; tea-smoked salmon, green tea soba noodle and pickled cucumber; and witlof, pear, blue cheese and walnut salad. The compact wine list is well chosen. Mains average: $13.
