Absolutely disgusting customer service.
Arranged 3PM removalist for Thursday.
At 4:15 PM I contacted Simply Transport and asked "Just checking you guys were still coming?"
Was Told By staff
"Oh yes, for Waterloo?"
"Yes... It's just I was expecting the removalist at 3PM"
Staff replied; "I don't drive the truck", but told me would call the driver.
At 4:45 pm, the truck driver calls me.
Driver has finished for the day, and 2nd man has gone home. Driver was nice and offers to drive out and pick up my goods.
However, as I have some very heavy items, I needed two people.
I call staff and ask where my removalist is.
Staff tells me that it was scheduled for tomorrow.
I reaffirm that it was for Thursday and not Friday.
By this stage, the conversation got heated and I ask to speak with other staff who made the original booking for me.
Hands over their number and I call them.
Staff confirms that the booking was for Thursday but then was changed.
I ask them why was it changed, does not know.
I ask them why I was not notified, does not know.
I call staff several times. Eventually staff picks up, says that what I did was disrespectful as it is now outside what they call 'business hours'.
I ask staff whether other staff has called, and said yes and that the booking was for Friday.
I said that was strange given other staff just confirmed it was for Thursday on the last call.
I make several calls, some of which are unanswered in between.
I use my iPhone to create a three way conversation so the two can sort out their story- by this stage other staff begins denying that it was for Thursday.
Staff hangs up, saying that staff does not have to 'deal with me'.
I ask them to send out a transport. They tell me this is not possible. By this stage- there's no point arguing, so I hang up.
Do not ever go with Simply Transport.
