    A nice quiet pub which can be called: "the friendly local". The bar meals were of good quality, the beer cold, and the price of the evening was really good. The publican and his son also put on a great raffle. If you want a old style pub, this is the place to go.

    Great ambience and friendly, happy staff at this family-run pub located on busy Mercer Street. Food is a cut above normal pub fare and reasonably priced. GHreat old-fashioned atmosphere in the bar or pleasant dining room, especially with the log fire roaring in the colder weather. Accomodation is not flash but very well priced.
