    I was over the moon with the quality of service at Skarr, everything was perfect and I would recommend them to any future brides! Everything that was altered was stated and re confirmed before any work was commenced! I was extremely happy with my dress and glad I chose Skarr, definitely value for money!

    Im suprised with the responds I read in here, because I feel and experienced exactly the opposite. The dress that I ordered from Skarr for my sister wedding is perfect. The fit, embellishment, and the service were incredible. I spent a lot of time with Rheinola and she helped me with suggestions for my dress as well as where to put my embellishment. And until now I still love my dress. Overall I am really satisfied with Skarr. And I would highly recommend every bride to go there.

    The gown was Size 6 and had to be taken in. When collected it was labelled size 10 was skin tight and the trim was not straight. The proprietor immediately became defensive and worse. We took the dress and left. We read reviews of zippers breaking and issues with sizing. Recommend great care with the size. Take very good measurements when ordering and discuss sizing carefully. They have no interest in making it right.

      Thank you again for giving retailers the opportunity to respond.
      On every client invoice that leaves our store .. It says alterations at customers cost.. we do recommend an alteration hand that we have worked withh for the past eight years.
      Human error will always be a part of life.
      However this doesn't seem to make sense with the label issue.. as far as size goes the alteration should always be picked up within a few days of the gown being altered as well
      As ... Must be tried on in the store before leaving.

    OMG! I googled reviews for this store this morning after having a terrible experience with them a couple of weeks ago. I had to give myself a couple of weeks to cool down before looking into it, it was that bad! The management of this store is nothing short of mean. Just like VeronicaL said, they're nice to you until they have your money and then flies off the handle for no reason, even called my mother names! There was a problem with my dress and they refused to acknowledge it, started yelling at us and made me cry - over a tiny issue! I was so mad I was shaking. I was in shock. I thought there must have been a misunderstanding. Its horrible, they shouldn't be allowed to trade. I am really easy going, but this was a terrible experience. Avoid Skarr or be skarred!

      I totally disagree with this, I don't believe for a second you were yelled at and don't understand how management didn't acknowledge you, everyone there is so pleasant and helpful! Maybe you went to a different store!

    The service at this store is beyond appauling. We were verbally abused for no real reason, all because they didn't like something that was said weeks earlier (meant in kindness!). Whilst rattled and saddened, I have since learned I am one of the lucky ones They are sweet as pie til you've committed with your money and then treats you like rubbish, rushes you, tells you what they 'really thought of you from the start' (unkind) and says that anything other than what is already there is 'your problem'. I warn any and all brides, bridesmaids and people who generally like to be respected to STAY AWAY!

      I have given considerable thought to this comment before I decided to respond... I would ask each and every bride or bridesmaid to give some thought to both sides of each story as there are always two sides.
      We work in an extremely emotional industry a lot of factors come into play.
      I am extremely passionate about delivering the very best customer service and certainly do place a lot of ficus on word of mouth ... Please keep in mind that we are all human and will never be able to please everyone.
