    QDeck is one of those things you 'Must Do' if visiting the Gold Coast. The views are spectacular - but try and make sure you head up on a clear day - you don't want to waste the entry fee. It's lovely watching the lights come on over the entire coast at dusk if you can time it, and there's 360 views from the top - in whale season you even might be lucky enough to spot a pod or two heading along the coast. The prices for beverages up the top are dear - they must add a surcharge for the view - but it's worth a trip still, and the food / drink is optional. Just enjoy the view. Around the edges of the room set on the floor are all the specs about the size of the building, what exactly has gone into it, and it's place in relation to other amazing buildings around the globe - probably of interest to anyone mechanically minded! Soak it up!... from the Sea to the Hinterland!

    Q Deck is a simply stunning experience. The initial elevator ride up to the 77th floor in under 40 seconds was enough to pay for the entry price. Once up to the top level the view was fantastic. We were lucky to have a clear sky for us watch the sunset. We enjoyed pre-dinner cocktails. Highly recommended are the Chocolate and the Banana Coffee cocktails.

    Make sure though that you 45min before the close time as we got caught out on Sunday night.
