I have ridden my own horses at Slickers for years, The best thing about slickers is that it's orientated for everyone! Families, adults, kids, 1st time riders through to experienced riders. It's so affordable so whole families are able to enjoy the experience of riding horses, that's what I love about working at slickers. The horses are all so unique and I love them all! Another thing I love about slickers is that kids are Being taught how to ride and look after horses, it's so cool being able to pass on knowledge I've accumulated over the years to younger kids so they can put it into practice!
If your looking for somewhere to ride a horse, or learn about horses then I 100% believe that slickers is the place to be!!!!

just took my own horse to Slickers and he is 15yrs old, he had no problems at all going up the hills and through the creeks and mud. My friend hired 2 of there horses for her 10yr old children and they had the best time ever and learnt and achieved so much. All Slickers horses looked in the best condition fat, fit and healthy. If you actually took the time to listen to the guides they do explain how to ride. they don't realise till the ride has begun that your not experienced, they need to know the truth to be able to help you. If you knew anything about horses you would know that having shoes on over 100 horses would cost hundreds but also and most important on those trails would be more dangerous for the horse to have, all there horses have good feet and only go in trails that they are fit for and each horse is individually chosen for every rider and at the end of the ride all get washed, scraped off and fed. The winery ride is awesome anyone who likes horses, great views and great food and wine go here you will love it :) -
Slickers Horse Riding is probably the most amazing place I have ever been, after 7 years there I still can't bring myself to leave. Places like this beautiful property are very few and very far between in today's technology driven society. I came as a little girl who loved horses, but I was terrified. With the help of the amazing staff my confidence was boosted and my fear lost, with the knowledge I learnt at Slickers over the years, I went on to get my own horse. The community there is like none other, and the horses kept in the best care possible. -
I lease at slickers and work at slickers and I'll say this, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It's a place for anyone of any age or experience to come hope on a horse and go for trail. I always try to share stories with the customers about all of the horses and my years there. I like the lease because it is convieniant and I know when I stop leasing some else will most likely start leasing him again. Its a nice place to be! -

I lease a horse at Slickers and its like owning my own horse but sooo much cheaper!!!! Its a great way to see what owning a horse is like except you can pull out at any time or change horse at the end of the month!!!! I still lease the same pony cause I love him lots and lots <3
