Directions
Slide is a bar, nightclub and cabaret venue all in one, depending on the night. Occupying the old Commonwealth Bank building, the entrance is imposing and seems out of sync with the rest of Oxford Street. Yet this gay friendly establishment injects some much needed sophistication into the area. Fridays and Saturdays sees Slide transform itself from a cocktail lounge to a nightclub, with DJs spinning the beats and the lighting inviting revellers to dance. Other nights, Slide plays host to cabaret shows, where you can order a meal and watch some live entertainment.

    I went to slide for their latest carbaret 'Vampire Stories' and I was completely blown away.
    Its so beautiful inside and the service is prompt and friendly. For $80 you get a 5 course gourmet meal and a show. The timing between the show and the courses are perfect. As soon as you finish one course, the show starts again so you aren't bored. The cocktails are delicious!!!

    When they have their theatre cabaret and special dinner show evenings. There is truly nothing like it in Sydney and the food Is fantastic. I take 12 friends and we sing eat and drink our hearts out.
