    I went to Smart Cuts & Color in Mornington about a month ago. I have strawberry blonde hair as my natural colour with a brown dyed over the top. I went into make an appointment & get a price. I showed my regrowth & asked how much it would be to go back to my natural colour, I was told $50 so i booked it in although the first thing they said was "Are you actually going to turn up?" i was rather shocked as I had never been there before & was obviously making an apt for a reason, i shrugged the comment off. I returned the following day being a Friday at 11am. The service given was very poor & unprofessional. I had to sit there for 30mins before the hairdresser even asked what I wanted done. They then proceeds to rinse the one next to me so by the time I had even been started I had been waiting in the salon for 45mins. Finally, I had dye in my hair but the hairdresser never explained to me that it was to strip the old colour out until they had already put it in my hair, they didn't leave it long at all & rinsed my hair, then towel dried it. As I sat at the mirror, they decided with another hairdresser about which colour to put in my hair, I saw the colour charts they were looking at and it was no where near the colour of my regrowth or the picture i had shown them, so I spoke up and said "not to orange". They proceeds to pick a colour & started dying, the dye was left in my hair longer than an hour which was due to the rinsing, cutting, styling other customers hair, other customers that had walked in AFTER me, I thought this would have been a nice opportunity to offer me a coffee or water but no, i was not offered any kind of beverage. My hair finally had been rinsed and as soon as it had been towel dried, it's looking extremely patchy, it looked terrible! The hairdresser then roughly brushes my wet hair... Brushed it, not combed it. As my hair is very brittle, brushing it while it's wet will just break & snap my hair, and what happened, ALOT of my hair had snapped, as a result of that I now have extremely uneven hair. The worst part about my whole experience is; once it was obvious I was very unhappy with the colour, they then offered for me to come back on Sunday at 2pm for them to fix it (free of charge of course) so I went back on the Sunday. Then I was asked if I can just wash it at home. I cannot believe they had the nerve to ask me to wash it out at home after they were fixing their mistake. I was shocked as they still have charged me any price for how unprofessional, rude the whole experience was.... I was told there was no time limit really and that i could wash it out whenever i please. I did rinse it out of my hair after I got home, I washed & dried my hair I realised my hair was dark reddish brown, so in the end, it was not the colour I asked for. The service was just very disappointing. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a hairdressers and I have had a fair share of bad hairdressers but this was the worst! AVOID THIS FRANCHISE.
