SOBUKAN teaches a range of effective contemporary and traditional martial arts to make students feel healthier, happier and safer. Systems include: Classical Okinawan Karate å�¤æµ�æ²?ç¸?æ??空æ??é�?ï¼?æ?³æ³?è¡?ï¼? Traditional Japanese Jujutsuã??æ??è¡? Kodokan Judoã??è¬?é�?館æ??é�? Shootoã??ä¿®æ?? Eliminate weaknesses, develop strength in balance. Often martial artists focus on one aspect of self-defence/combat. They develop strength in that area, while neglecting other important ranges. SOBUKAN teaches a good foundation of skills in each area, letting the student excel in their favourite aspects of the martial arts after developing the skills to perform effectively in a range of common situations. The regular class times are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at: Children: 6pm â?? 6:45pm Adults: 6:45pm â?? 8pm. Sobukan means â??comprehensive martial clubâ?? in Japanese. Students are taught a range of martial arts to equip them with life skills including effective self-defence techniques, negotiation methods, goal setting and achievement, self-management etc. Acquiring these skills builds confidence, self-discipline, and the tools to positively deal with lifeâ??s challenges Sobukanâ??s mission is to give average men, women and children the tools to improve their lives.
