Great Atmosphere, excellent service. we went here for a drink and the buffet on saturday night as to celebrate moving to our new home.. We found we could not of asked for a better day and night.. we moved with On The Move Removals earlier and they where Excellent too- and then to come to the Sofitel and relax, enjoy a fine wine, great service and fine food, we could of not asked for a better day when everything just ran smooth..if you love a great buffet and an Ambeince of prosperity while dining, then the Sofitel is a place to go..

Excellent hotel. Modern, well-designed rooms which are quite spacious, great service and lovely buffet breakfast at Thyme2. Only thing I wasn't fond of was the foyer, which is not very impressive for a 5 star hotel (say, compared to the Stamford Plaza with the sweeping staircase).

Definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Staff were extremely helpful and the hotel is kept immaculately clean. We loved the afternoon drink by the pool and the live latin music. Our 3 day getaway felt more like a holiday

If you want a piece of the action this is where to get it. Located smack in the centre of the city above Central Station, the Sofitel is a super slick, modern hotel with a real buzz, thanks in part to the popular Cuvée Lounge Bar and Thyme² restaurant which are a hit with the locals. The rooms are spacious, modern and understated and the service is above par (expect to hear lots of French accents among the staff, this is a French chain after all). Couples and business people can escape to the Sofitel Club on the 30th floor for privacy and stunning city views. Coldplay, Britney Spears and Andre Rieu have all stayed here.
