I stay at this Sofitel on at least an annual basis - usually for work functions or an anniversary. Complimentary choc dipped strawberries and champagne were delivered for our anniversary - which is a really nice touch. We're also members of Accor and get a 2for1 dining deal which is good for the restaurants within the hotel. Valet parking if available and the views of Broadbeach and the ocean are just lovely. I'll keep coming back here.

It is hard not to love a hotel with its own monorail station. Great location away from the horror that is Surfers Paradise (even worse that everyone seems to refer to it as "Surface") in Broadbeach with an abundance of restaurants in the area. A great pool elevated to catch the sun between massive shadows from nearby oversized apartment towers.
There is, however, a major issue with the bed. It is less of a bed and more of a cloud. By far the softest bed I have ever slept on, to the point it was really bad for your back. It is almost impossible to roll over (bye bye romance) due to the mattress engulfing you - seriously, fat people might never be seen again!

Whilst the bed was really really not to my taste, the breakfast buffet made up for it. Great selection, good trading hours and their very own pikelet machine = genius.

Nice modern rooms and service. My only gripe (not really their fault) was that the birds and bats were so noisy at night I couldn't sleep.

I absolutely love staying here. The rooms are lovely, very modern and clean. The location is perfect. The ocean is a couple of minutes away, and right at your doorstep are heaps of restaurants, bars, pokies, etc. There is something for every budget very, very close. There is even a supermarket right at the bottom of the lifts, which is great for families trying to watch the money.

Yep, stayed here once. A nice, clean upmarket kind of place. It had recently been renovated.
