    I would not even rate this company half a star. The first time I rang Sommerville Smash repairs , CommInsures nominated insurer, to make an appointment for an assessor to have a look at my car, I was greeted by a very rude person. I overlooked this and thought -'it's ok, someone is having a bad day' That should have set the alarm bells going.
    When I took my car to have repair work done, I was again greeted by another rude person at the reception. I was then informed by yet another rude person who came in to take my car to the workshop, when I queried the insurers excess fee, that it was not his problem but an issue between me and my insurer. He said to me that he was very busy and had lots of work to do. At this response I decided that my car was not going to get repaired by a firm who has no time for their customers.

    Performed extensive repairs to my vehicle under insurance. There was a run in the paintwork on the roof which they informed me about and said they would fix at my convenience, however the fresh paint was badly mismatched/not blended on the bumper, there was a gap between one of the tail light surrounds and the quarter panel due to poor fitting of the panel, and whoever buffed it burnt the hell out of the clear coat. Would not use again.
