This place never disappoints. Great food, reasonable prices & attentive service. Gnocchi is a favourite, served with Sottos lovely homemade bread. Pasta is always good too. Nice selection of wines by the glass.
I have dined here three times now for dinner and have been throoughly impressed each time. Loved the paella and seafood claypots, as well as the antipasto platter, which was full of flavour with tasty ingradients.
The wine list is also very impressive, only downfall is trying to find the place! Melbourne seems to love its hidden treats such as these. Once located, you will enjoy yourself. The layout and decoration of the place is charming and inviting, both cosy and private.
I have dined here many times and am always treated wonderfully, they make you feel like family. The service is delightful.
Quite a beautiful venue, impeccably designed and furnished. Its quiet, modestly priced with a beautiful menu of fresh, modern Australian and italian cuisines.
I come here often and am always served by friendly staff who make a real effort to look after their customers. The menu will provide you with an array of delicious modern Australian food with an Italian twist, its always changing according to the produce available at the time.
I am also a fan of the coffee made upstairs before uni/work, the girls who work in the upstairs cafe are very sweet and generous.
exceptional service, great coffees, a casual yet cosy environment. When evaluating cafe's in the city, Sotto e Sopra meets all my requirements and does it well. The staff are very friendly, the menu is tasty, coffees are served hot, strong & without fuss. Also they have great happy hour deals. Yep, Sotto e Sopra is perfect for that quick "lets catch up over coffee" scenario. Thoroughly recommended!
