Shocking service! Booked my car in to get fixed, which is still under warranty, for the second time in two weeks. I was told that they could give me a loan car but would charge a fee.

I phoned the management wanting to know why I am charged for a loan car when my car is still under warranty. Also, that another VW dealership does not charge a fee for their loan cars. I was so shocked at their attitude. They made it very clear to me that it is their policy as a stand alone dealership, full stop!

There is a definite lack of management skills at South Yarra VW's service department. I have experienced first hand that a customers is not benefitted by South Yarra VW. Just because I did not originally purchase my vehicle from the South Yarra VW branch does not mean I should get treated any differently from the customers that did.

I want to trade my current VW Polo in on a Golf or the new Tiguan. The idea was to do this through the South Yarra VW dealership, but after the treatment I received today, I will never return there or recommend the dealership to anyone else.

Bought a car there in the last couple of weeks. I specifically asked about whether an iPhone and iPod could be immediately connected and was assured that the car was ready to go for both devices. When the time came to collect the car, the iPhone could not be connected because there was an additional item to be purchased. The iPod still doesn't work. The sales guys can't be bothered returning calls to rectify the situation. The car that we received had not even been properly cleaned. This dealership supposedly won 2010 VW Dealer of the Year. I would not recommend this dealership on current performance.

  Finally got an answer for the phone and the kit will be fitted next week. I am satisfied with the resolution of this issue.
