The school is extremely diverse and represents the type of environment I want my child to experience. The principal, teachers and staff truly care about the kids and treat them as individuals and with respect. Multi-cultural, multi faceted and a wonderful place to send your child.
In prep my child was subjected to bullying that some staff were aware of but nothing was done about it .
In grade 1 she was refused permission to go to the toilet during class time, resulting in her wetting her pants in front of her class mates.
In grade 2, more bullying.
In grade 3, I requested help from a senior in getting these bullies off our back once and for all but was told that they could not help as they had not physically witnessed any of the abuse or harassment. This is after a year of reporting every incident to them.
I would suggest to parents considering this school for their children to give special consideration to the blind eye they appear to turn to bullying.
Of all the students that started prep with my child, very few remain at the school, but still live in endeavour hills. My biggest regret was leaving it so long before following the others to one of the better, more grounded schools in the area.
