Spaghetti Tree Restaurant

Directions
The Spaghetti Tree Restaurant has been in business for more than 25 years. It is situated in the “Theatre District” of Melbourne. It is conveniently located for having dinner before a show or coffee after. The restaurant can adequately accommodate large functions and they also have a dance floor. The menu is a fusion of pastas, nachos, burgers and seafood. Some meals are lighter than others and the fish is the fresh catch of the day.

A great menu with something for everyone. I like to think of this place like a WAY better version of La Porchetta. Pricing is reasonable for something in the city and the location of this restaurant is great. I didn't make a booking but I recommend it as I was lucky to get a table for 2 right away. The decor is nothing too special but the environment here is relaxed and not too serious. I would definitely eat here again.

As far as group dining goes this tends to be a popular place for work lunches. I've been here a few times now and everyone seems to have a blast. The waiting times on meals are not ideal sometimes up to 45 minutes. And I would expect this to be lower because we all order the day beforehand but with 30 people at one table it is to be expected.
The food itself is always really tasty, whether youre looking for something naughty or something nice. They have a really well balanced lunch time menu. I love the atmosphere and the decorations always have me laughing.
They have a nice bar and great staff too, that always seem to pop up and serve at just the right time. Try them out if you're up that end of town. :)

Food was very tasty. We were able to be seated, order entree and main, and eat all within 45 minutes.
Atmosphere was great and loved the dcor. I understand that the low light adds to the ambience, but it also makes it very difficult to read the menu.
We were seated very close to the kitchen, far away from the bar, and windows.
Very close to theatres and hotels.

While the meals here are quite plain, they are tasty and presented very nicely. The chicken parmigana is delicious, I highly recommend it! The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. The service here is great, and you will not be waiting long after ordering to receive your meal.

All the food was average, no better, no worse. The service was really friendly, and I was happy with that. It wasn't overly cheap, but the price for the food was roughly okay. The table we were sitting at was weird and had some kind of lever under the table, the environment could be better. Generally go here before a theatre booking, if at the top end of the city. You can always find something on the menu, even for vegetarians, and the service is prompt and friendly. It gets really busy so you have to book, especially if there's more than 4 of you.
