    I was sadly let down by Sparrow - the staff in particular were terrible. I had heard many raving reviews about Sparrow but my experience was most certainly not great. We had to ask several times for our wine to be poured and for water at the table (bottle sparkling not free tap water too). There was no comment about the food from the waiting staff and their skills were basic at the very best, spilling things everywhere with no apology ??? The food was good, however marred by the lasck of servivce and there was a strange dessert which really didnt quite realise the lofty ambitions it was aiming for. If you are looking to impress - then I would think again, if your happy to cope with second grade service the food it still ok. OH and as for the guitar playing man?? Please reside in the corner not in our faces, we were there to eat, drink, chat and be merry not listen to your music so up close and personal ! The only saving grace was an apology at then end from one of the staff who noted how bad the service to our table had been - so well done to her, not to the rest.

    I didnt know what to expect going here, but when the restaurant was booked out, i knew why, loved the food, the atmosphere, the service, will be back (soon)
