My friend and I stumble upon this little bar one afternoon. It is small and cosy, with a few low tables squished into the dimly-lit space. We decide to stop in for a snack and some cheeky afternoon beverages. We order a bottle of sparkling and some tapas from the friendly waitress. I also observe that there is also an impressive breakfast menu and coffee available, which I vow to try next time Im in the area for brunch. We sit and enjoy our bubbly near the window, as we watch Bondi locals and tourists pass by. There other tables in the bar are all full. There is a great atmosphere and buzz in this tiny room. Our food comes out and looks amazing. The vegetarian mixed plate contains some of my favourite things, including olives roast beetroot dip, hummus, tomato & dukkah salad and crumbly goats cheese. We also order some fennel and chicken chilli skewers which are delicious. Such a great place to meet for tapas and a vino.

Everything is easy-going at this small tapas-style wine bar. Just off North Bondi’s main drag, the corner side nook is the perfect place for an intimate evening a away from the bright lights. Get cosy on the couches with a vino and dips plate or settle onto stools. Space may be tight but the servings are more than generous.
