    They ruined my sunnies

    I spent around $900 (before private health rebate) at this store getting a pair of frames both with anti reflective coating and my new prescription in my sports sunnies (tinted and polarised). The younger staff that served me when I placed my order were all very nice and helpful.

    My normal glasses were fine and arrived quite quickly, but when I went to collect my sports sunnies I found they had replaced my curved sports lenses with flat ones. I was a little upset because the frames were quite expensive but the staff at the store said that is how SpecSavers work. I was told that all SpecSavers lenses are completely flat. I asked the another staff whether he thought the huge difference in design was something that would have been worth telling me about before I spent almost $1k at their store. The staff said, "we don't do that here".

    I now have a pair of sunnies that are bent out of shape and have a viewing angle of less than 30 degrees.
