    Went here for dessert and was a little disappointed. Lovely atmosphere and decor, but the three desserts we tried were pretty average. Also ordered cocktails - the watermelon was pretty sickly sweet and also ridiculously strong. Not sure if their mains are more impressive but we were a bit disappointed.

    Spice Bar is AMAZING!!!

    princess78 could not be more wrong about this place. I've dined a lot of places on the Sunny Coast and Brissy and this is by far my new favourite :) I did the 2nd degustation (where you get to try a lot of the dishes from the menu) I was asked by the waitress if i had any favourites and i was speechless, it is almost impossible to pick a favourite. I didnt think i had room for dessert after all food... but i had to and i am so glad i did. The pavlova was mind-blowing! the macadamia meringue, passionfruit ice cream and the berry foam were perfect. I was in on a friday night and I sneakily booked again for the saturday, I had to show my parents :)

    Definitely try it out and judge for yourself because you wont regret it. Im guessing princess78 had a little to drink at that Christmas Party because this is the best dining experience ive ever had. I cannot wait for another excuse to go again :) Love it

    Spice Bar Mooloolaba - food was great but...the end of night service was dispicable!!
    The night ended (after spending $2000) by being asked to leave because they wanted to pack up, that was fine, but then a staff member decided to come out and tell us we had been rude to the staff all night and that we were the "intoxicated ones" - we were all in shock at these random and not true comments. Yes, most of the party were drinking, it was our Christmas party! But at no time were we roudy or rude. There were atleast 3 of us that weren't drinking or only had a couple so I am very aware of what went on. One of the ladies, a very well respected person in the community was horrified at the comments, as were we all. If anyone was rude, I would like to say the staff and some of their comments were uncalled for - even if it was a joke - she said to my friend, "you don't mind if I empty this bottle into your glass since I hear you a alcoholic"! Oh my God, nice conversation starter!
    All night, we complemented them on their food. Then when I started to choke on a fish bone, I told a waitress that something was stuck in throat, and she just told me to keep drinking...very concerned for my wellfair obviously.
    So in a nutshell, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE SPICE BAR. I have now heard a few stories about this restaurant from other patrons so we are not the only unhappy customers. My only advice is BEWARE OR STAY CLEAR!
