Indian food with a modernised twist, think of perhaps along the lines of Mcdonalds but with Indian food (if you can), food was served to me super fast, i got a large serving of The Southern Indian Lamb curry which was tasty indeed and the lamb was extremely tender (very nice). I also got 4 traditional Puri breads which are to die for.

Another thing to note is that i was offered a "sample" of the curry before spent my hard earned cash. Great service.

Not bad for being a fast food outlet in a shopping centre food court. Recommended!

Had this for lunch, was recommended by a friend and wasnt expecting too much, but pleasantly surprised, Butter chicken had a thick creamy texture and tasted great, price was also a wonderful surprise with a small butter chicken and rice for $6.95.

Staff member was pleasant and very polite, and the order took just a couple of minutes.

Definetely worth a go if you're after a tasty affordable meal.

Also opted to buy a Meat Samosa from the front hot food display and this was excellent, definetely hand made fresh.

i frequent this place when im in a rush for a quick feed at a reasonable price, most of the small curries are less than $7 including rice for a generous serve, usually my order is given to me in less than 3 minutes and is very good food for the price, yes it is not a RESTAURANT but rather a fast food outlet in a shopping centre food court (garden city westfield), still it is very tasty and the service has always been fantastic.

From what ive heard they have just won Best Casual Dining award for their area, top effort as i know how competitive this field is.

recommend to anyone looking for great food at a great price, but to compare it to any 5 star type ala-carte restaurant is hardly fair.

And not that it should matter what nationality a review comes from, i am 100% indian. :)

If there's one word i can describe my experiece with this *Indian* restaurant, its TERRIBLE. And i promissed myself to never eat there again.

I should've listened to my wife. She had visited this place before and didnt have good comments about their food. She can be critical some times so i thought i might give it a go. But nah, its worse than what she described to me.

I had the vegetarian platter(thali) which included - White rice , 1 curry(Bombay Aloo - the only vegetarian curry), 1 chapati and a samosa. The only dish that tasted ok was the plan rice. The curry was too hot and absolutely no salt, no flavours and no 'taste'. FYI - im half Indian and have tasted 1000's of curries and that Bombay Aloo will go into the top 10 worst curries ive ever had. Thinking about it now, it looked/tasted like they mixed the baked potatoos and peas on Phataks and set it aside for a month and add mugs of chilli power but no salt. The Samosa was super hot (temperature), my wife was joking that it was straight from the microwave. When i left it to cool down a bit, it became too dry and the inner skin of the samosa was chewy, the stuffing wasnt too bad though tasted ok. And the chapati(bread), well what can i say it tasted like it was made and reheated, inconsistant thickness so it was chewy here and there.

They seriously need to work on their ability to cook food that tasted 'Indian' if they want to call themselves one.

Note: My review is based only on the Vegetarian options there.
