A Splash of Red has been a leading Salon on the Mornington Peninsula for more than 25 years and has won several Awards for Excellence during this time. 

Whilst primarily being an AVEDA Family Salon, a secondary range of quality products are also available. 

Beauty services include waxing, manicures, pedicures, ear piercing and spray tanning. 

A new Salon was recently established in Mount Martha at 3a Bay Road and provides the same quality Hair Care experienced in the Mornington Salon.

    The girls at Splash of Red are a fun, friendly, funky bunch; I absolutely loved the gorgeous bridal hairstyling they did for my Maid of Honor and myself - perfect! We had to bring my 5yo nephew with us to the hair trial and they were so accommodating, letting him have his own chair and space. On my wedding day they made us feel so pampered plus we were ready right on time (which really helped calm my nerves). And the glass of bubbles was a lovely touch. If I lived in the area I would definitely become a regular client.

    I would like to thank the staff of A Splash of Red who made my first experience as a Mother of the Groom start beautifully. I was nervous about having my hair and make-up done, especially at a salon in a different State and one I picked up on the net.
    I need not have worried. Sharni was very considerate and gave me an elegant but natural look for my make up and the girls in hair dressing area also took notice of how I wore my hair when I first went in and made sure that I left the salon looking and feeling fantastic. The salon was very understanding as, via email, I added people and changed the times more than once due to my son's wedding schedule. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!

    My appointments with Splash of Red are my ultimate monthly indulgence. I make a whole pampering day of it as it is a one-stop shop for a feel-good day of pamper. Hair, nails, spray tan - even a cheese platter with coffee or champagne in the evening - I would recommend all the hairdressers there as I have "sampled" them all.

    have been coming to this Salon for many years and am always amazed by the friendly atmosphere and vibe among all the girls. The service is second to none and the products (Aveda) are fabulous. Best Salon this side of Melbourne.

    A very professional service is offered. The hairdresser sends a text message a day prior to your appointment to confirm your attendance. Whilst having your hair done, you are offered coffee or tea. My 4 year old is always welcomed in, too, and she loves her big cup of hot chocolate!
    My haircut is always first class,and they always use top quality products. I won't go anywhere else!
