    "A Taste of the Adriatic in Moonah"

    Nada Mihelcic, is from Vinkovci in Eastern Croatia. Her husband Milan is from Slovenia. They have created a very unique eatery. The decor has been tastefully finished highlighting an art decor moulded ceiling with appropriate styled light fittings. We sampled three dishes, homemade pumpkin soup, absolutely scrumptious. A genuine Hungarian Goulash, which was rich, spicy and tasty. Fabulous for a cool weather meal, also Chevapchich, a Balkan, skinless sausages, served with sour cream and chilly sauce. Nada is renowned for her crispy skinned whole fish and delicious grilled sword fish, topped with prawns in creamy brandy sauce. We finished our sampling by tasting two traditional European drinks
    Rakija, plum brandy taken with coffee at breakfast. A very palatable pear liqueur, Kruskovac. Fabulous european cakes to have with your coffee, with a great varied menu. This is a destination cafe restaurant, must visit.
