Hi Shawny, I would be happy to comment on the coffee and the food, it was nice, when it arrived. Unfortunately this was not a once off occurrence. On our very first visit to your establishment we were also facing a 40 minute wait for food, a ridiculous timeframe to the point where we ended up leaving without ordering and taking our business elsewhere. The second visit was better, but I would have to say only marginally. The third visit, prompting this initial review due to sheer frustration. Just last weekend we came in, ordered food and coffee (all of which was very nice), and there was only a 20 minute wait. I assumed you had done something about the wait time to cut it in half like this. (kudos to you on that one). Now, however, it is my turn to be perplexed. I do not go around making timeframes up. I know how long we waited, and am not sure if I appreciate being questioned in such a way. Let me make it clear, the food, the coffee, both very good. It is the service and cooking times which have let you down. I believe I will continue to visit your establishment, for the food... I just hope I have the time to wait when we come in. For the food and coffee, i provide you with a 3 1/2 star rating. Regards

With the 6 staff behind the counter, and the third full searing area, they still manage to take 40 minutes for a simple bacon and eggs. Other reviews suggest service drops after 2pm, I say more like after they open the doors of a morning. Third time here... Should I learn and not come back? It is a shame they are so poor, cause they are so close! Only gave a half star rating cause I had to put something there!

  Thanks for your review, but we're a bit perplexed about your comments given that as the owner I was there on Sunday and at no stage was there a 40 minute wait on food with the maximum hitting 20 minutes during the peak period. If you weren't happy then it would've been nice for you to discuss the issue at the time as at no stage do we want an unhappy customer walking out the door. I'm disappointed to say the least that you give us a ½ star rating and made no mention of the food or the coffee that was served and furthermore you never gave us an opportunity to resolve the wait time on the day. You also need to be aware of how a review of such magnitude like yours can affect a business. If you could contact us then we're happy to discuss the review in detail and compensate as appropriately required.
