An adventurous menu delivers on its promises at this superb BYO. It’s a simple space with a casual feel; a Queenslander with polished floorboards and simple but elegant furnishings, showing an individuality that continues through the dining experience. The off-beat menu includes an entree of smoked kangaroo with roast mushroom and potato lasagne with dried fig glaze, while mains include vanilla-cured ocean trout with sweet potato and mint gnocchi. On the dessert menu you’ll find brazzo mercedes, a traditional Philippine dessert: a meringue log filled with caramel cream. Mains average: $28.50.
