I took my cat here with what appeared to be a thyroid tumor. Although thyroid issues in elderly cats are common, the vet obviously had little experience (he consulted an encyclopedia and a colleague), and said the tumor would grow until the cat could no longer eat but he'd check out what could be done and to bring the cat back in a week. While I understand vets can't know everything and need to research, I opted to do my own research and decided to take try to the Cat Clinic in Prahran for a second opinion (which the original vet was unhappy with when I called to cancel). Best decision ever. Within 5 minutes of the Cat Clinic assessing the cat, the "tumor" was much smaller--turned out it was a large thyroid cyst, which the vet aspirated. Several weeks later, it was successfully removed. If you want people who truly know and care about cats, go to the Cat Clinic.
I have been taking my pets to st kilda veterinary clinic for years and i find their service fantastic. The staff are always happy and helpful! Our family also give this clinic a big thumbs up!!
We have always had great service from the girls at the St Kilda Veterinary clinic and thank them for all the care they have given holly over the years. I think they are well priced for the high level of care and service we receive. Thumbs up from Holly and the Galloway's. Stuart Galloway
My little pup stopped breathing after treatment here. When I took him back they charged me another $450.00 to fix their mistake. I tried to argue but they simply said they wouldnt release my dog with out payment. Within 24 hours I had paid over $500.00
