  • To Star Of Siam
Entrees include the Sea Star, delicate dumplings filled with minced prawn, squid and chicken, or the snow pea salad with roasted coconut and a spicy lemon dressing. Classics are well-executed such as pandan chicken, pad Thai noodles, choo chee-prawns and the original hot and sour tom yum soup. The Star has arguably the best massaman curry in town with tender beef and potatoes in a thick curry sauce. Seasonal produce features in the specials which can include barramundi with green mango salad. The Star's elegant dining room has an urban, welcoming atmosphere.

Food is great, very authentic yet modern. Really fresh and reflective of culture. A little pricey, but nice for celebrations etc. However, EVERY time I have been there, the staff have been very very rude - just blunt and short.
Friends with children also say they have been very rude and are definitely not family friendly. Will be avoiding, because of staff, but the food is nice.

Let's hope that this fantastic Thai restaurant always remains unpretentious and vibrant. A wonderful meal for all guests, grab as many different dishes as your group can share and just try to talk about anyting but how great the food is. It can be a lilttle noisy, (it is like the food, fast and dymanic -it is Thai) but that's all part of the fun.

My favourite Thai resturant in Adelaide. Fantastic food and service, and always delivers the goods! And whats even better is it has very reasonable prices. Please try the seafood star entree, and garlic chilli pork, they are amazing.

The food here is enjoyably appetizing, especially when you receive the bill at the end of your dine and realize its not expensive as you thought. The sizes are decent and the service is efficient. I love their Kao Pad Prik (Fried Rice), and Pad Thai. I would recommend this place for people craving Thai Food.

One of Adelaide's best Thai restaurants. No matter how busy it is the staff always manage to find a place for you. Food, service and the price make this restaurant a hard one to walk past.

Be prepared for a lovely meal, fantastic service and a pleasent ambiance. The thai fish cakes are a personal favourite and the food is affordable and delicious! It's lovely sitting outside on a nice summer night to watch the ebb and flow of traffic and people in busy gouger st. A great atmosphere in such a busy restaurant, you will not be dissapointed! But make sure you book early or you might miss out!

Always a pleasure, always consistent, great favourites. Take your time to enjoy, not to be rushed. An environment to celebrate, if your a regular customer, you'll be surely looked after. If dining for the first time, book earlier & allow yourself the time to look over the menu & utilise the staff recommendations.
