One of the great city pubs in Australia. Nestled under the actual span of the famous Storey Bridge for decades and recently renovated from an old bomb shelter into a shiny new trendy pub. Great atmosphere, terrific meals, well worth a visit.

Great position. We had our wedding reception there and it was fantastic, wrap-around balconies made the evening so typically queensland, and the food was excellent. We were all really well looked after by staff too.

If someone asked you to go for a drink under a bridge, chances are you’d be dubious. Unless, of course, the drinking spot is the famed Story Bridge Hotel. Dating back to 1886, this hotel boasts a great history and attracts visitors from all over the world. It’s friendly, too. Perch yourself between the pylons at this city landmark and enjoy a cleansing ale. The attached Deery’s restaurant, known for its steaks, is also winning awards.
