Sublime Edge Hairdressers

I've been a regular at Sublime Edge for years and know a number of people who also attend on a regular basis. The atmosphere is always welcoming and although I'm not exactly on time, having to travel from the Eastern suburbs, they never complain. My wife is picky when it comes to my hair and always reminds me when she thinks it is ready for a cut. She always comments what a good job they do when I get home. Thanks Ben and staff.

I go there all the time and it's great. Nice people and always a good job. I dont even have to explain what I want they just do it.
Some people always look for an excuse to have a whinge so thankfully they have nicked off to be a pain somewhere else! Get a life!!

Worst hair cut ever... I have never seen such disgraceful technique.... Thinning out scissors does not a hair style create!

What I wanted was your stock standard layered bob... They basically hacked all of my hair away so that I was left with 1) hardly any hair therefore no shape, 2) uneven length at the back so that it sloped diagonally from the left to the right, 3) wierd long pieces that went over shorter lengths at the back. It is almost to bad to describe... and they had the nerve to suggest I was fit to go out that Sat night... :(

I had to go to another hairdresser on the Sunday to try and save my style! I haven't even mentioned the customer service..... All I can say is never again.

  mb0312. My commiserations as i too suffered the worst massacre of a cut ever and it was literally about half inch long in some spots. My scalp was visible! Anyone who states that we're whingers shld have to experience the embarrassment and frustration of this experience.

I first visited this hairsalon because i noticed how busy it always looks when i drive past. i'd also been referred by many of my friends. They told me about a few "sports celebrities" that visit the salon too.
I now go there regularly for my cut & colour, and im always very impressed with the outcome. I am thoroughly consulted and given the most "honest" ideas & opinions. It is a very relaxed salon to be in & i feel comfortable on all my visits. It's certainly a place i can go to escape my kids for a while. The staff are very helpful and friendly and i can tell they enjoy what they do. If my hairdresser is away i can easily rely on one of the other hairdressers to take over, because they are all just as good as eachother.
Last visit i also noticed that the salon has recently recieved an award for "Best Customer Service" and they really do deserve it. They are a very busy salon and really work hard at all times. I will always be a loyal customer to this salon :) WELL DONE TO THEM!!

  I'm pleased to hear that s/o else has had good service from this salon, as it's now 4 wks since my cut & my hair is still incredibly short and hard to manage. Maybe I was there on an off day.

I used the services of this salon on recommendation and was pleased with first visit. The second visit was a disaster! The same hairdresser as before "massacred" my hair after me reiterating that I wanted a tiny amt cut from the top and that I DIDN'T want my hair short - it is so short now that it looks like a skull cap and I can't get a brush into it. It is all different lengths and completely unmanageable. When I appeared aghast at the results, I was told that my hair is "deceptive" & there's really much more hair than it appears!!!! I've had two independent opinions since, and both agree that the operator has performed a terrible job of cutting. There was no apology and I now feel embarrassed to attend functions etc. He works so fast that it was not apparent that he had cut the hair so short!!

  there are 11 qualified hairdressers that work in this salon and they are all very good hairdressers. otherwise the salon wouldn't be classified as one of Glenelg's top hairsalons, along with "enve" down the road. the salon wouldn't be so busy if they weren't so good! for the sake of one person being unhappy with 1 hairdresser, i feel it is very very immature to place such nasty comments on an internet website that the whole world can see.
