We accept reviews and comments which appear to be legitimate, honest and based on first-hand experiences with businesses.

We reject reviews and comments if they:

    Booked a taxi hours in advance on a Friday at 12 to get me at 2.10. It didn't show up for 45 minutes and made me late for work. I rang them three times and each time said they were still finding one but it shouldn't be much longer. After 45 minutes i had to resort to asking a friend to get me. Very unprofessional.

    Very disappointing. I booked a cab for 4:30am the night before for a trip to the airport. 10 minutes late and nothing. Called Suburban Taxis and was told that the dispatched driver was "for some reason 100 miles away". Was told I'd get a replacement driver. Ended up being 20 minutes late total. Disappointing that a booking made the night before still managed to be late!

    Terrible. Booked a cab. 15mins after requested time got SMS saying 900m away. Go outside in the freezing cold. Cab never arrives. Reply to SMS asking where cab is. Get reply saying to phone. Cannot get through. Hopeless. Never saw cab. Only giving half star because it is required.

    The worst service ever.
    Hostile and clueless staff, dirty vehicle and to top it all off, a LONG wait.
    I'll never use them again.
    Avoid at all costs.

    Being on crutches after a sporting accident on the weekend I needed a taxi to take me to the doctor's clinic, I rang and ordered the cab nearly one hour early, I waited over 20minutes and no taxi. I rang again to be told it had gone to number 4 instead of number 14 - which wasn't true as the street is one way and I was waiting out the front! So was promised another taxi - 15minutes later no cab so I rang again the very terse and uncaring staff said there was one on the way, which finally arrived five minutes later. Needless to say I was late for my doctor's appointment - Never again Surburban you're B grade

    Had a great experience with Suburban Taxis today using the iphone app! Got to watch the car enroute to pick me up and had a lovely driver!

    Booking 1.5 hours in advance I had to wait for 30 minutes after the scheduled pick up time despite following up to see where they were.

    Rough ride as the car was also in major need of a service.

    I will be avoiding them in future.

    If you can avoid using this company, I strongly suggest you do. I booked at taxi (at 2pm) for a 4pm pick up. I was going to a wedding and wanted to be early just in case. The cab didn't show at 4pm so I called to re-confirm the booking. The operator kept me on hold for roughly 4 minutes (which is costly on a mobile phone). The operator FINALLY picked up and said there was one on the way and would be there to pick us up in 10 minutes. No one came to pick us up so I called back again and they fed me the same stupid line. We waited and waited (in total we waited 45 minutes). Getting closer to the start time of the wedding. Finally our concierge told us to give up and get one from the cab rank a few blocks away (which looking back, we should have done and screwed the fictitious cab driver that was picking us up from our hotel). The cab driver we did end up getting was from the same moronsm because we were desperate not to miss the wedding. The driver didn't know where the location was (which is apparently a really well known functions hall in Adelaide). He asked me for directions and then threw me his map instead of using his GPS attached to his dashboard. Suffice it to say we ended up missing the ceremony which was INCREDIBLY disappointing seeing as we travelled interstate to attend!

    My friends and I were in Adelaide interstate to sing in the Festival Choir for the final concert of the Adelaide Festival, Mahler symphony number 8. This is a big event, with international soloists and visiting choristers from a number of states of Australia. We were staying at the Residential wing of Royal Adelaide Hospital, and rang for a cab from the free cab phone in reception, to attend an important rehearsal. We waited for 35 minutes, then rang the company again, only to be told a cab had tried to pick us up at a different location from the one requested. 'We'll send one as soon as possible." We waited another 40 minutes interspersed with 4 more calls, then abandoned the whole cab idea, and started walking to the station, only to discover a cab rank at gate 6 of the hospital, with 5 cabs in a row, from another company! Why weren't we told that I wonder?

    this service, if you can call it that, is absolutely disgraceful. i have had to wait on many occasions for a taxi to come pick me up. i as well as my friends have waited at times up to over an hour. what sort of service do you call that. i call it a joke! tonight was the last straw and the last time i will ever call upon this so called taxi place....and the worst of it all is they don't give care. i'm glad i didn't have to be at the airport tonight. i dare say i would have missed the flight.
