    I will state up front, that I was once quite a Subway devotee. In this case, I have tried the Liverpool street Subway branch enough times to know that the process control that is supposed to create a consistent experience across all Subway branches has broken down in this location.

    There is no doubt a great deal of traffic through the doors, given its prime location on the corner of Liverpool and George St. However, the restaurant suffers from the outset as it is just that little bit grimy in the entry and inside.

    So considering the food itself (which is supposed to be standard) it is odd to find it departs from typical Subway quality. For example, I have had a number of cold breakfast subs with cold sausage and egg. On another occasion, my meatball sub tasted strangely like the meatballs had been bathed in a pure ketchup/tomato sauce mixture as opposed to the usual semi-Italian tomato based sauce.

    Needless to say, despite having walked past several times since then, I have not yet worked up the courage to try another breakfast sub. Considering what a soft spot I have for them, then it says a lot about the overall quality of the food production at this specific branch.

    This was one of the first Subways I ever seen in our Country so its a bit nostalgic for me to come back here. The other place was the one on Oxford Street.

    Yes they have great FRESH food and though I like change, I do come here specifically once a month. Comparing to other Subways they are not too stingey with their ingreadients.

    Try Subway and try this place for being one of the firsts.
