    This lovely little fruit shop in Summer Hill Village offers good quality fruit and veg. The only days Ive noticed the quality vary is when it's particularly warm and the fruit out the front (the strawberries in particular) are exposed to the sun a little too long. The people who work there (mainly a couple of young guys and a young girl) are always polite and helpful. One day I was offered a chocolate covered strawberry on the house just as they were being put out for sale. The vegetables, namely, mushrooms, asparagus, capsicum (including yellow and orange), spinach and broccoli are always fresh. The small pink lady apples are crisp and sweet, the oranges are hit and miss depending on the season but the strawberries are pretty much always good. The smaller ones are particularly sweet. The flowers are also a great buy. I bought a beautiful bunch of closed tulips, which slowly opened out over the next week. I always try and stop in here instead of doing all my shopping somewhere else.
