Award winning Japanese cuisine

Sushi e is an enclave of modern Japanese expression, hidden behind the famous cocktail lounge, Hemmesphere, on the fourth floor of Establishment. Head Chef, Nobuyuki Ura, and his team work in the centre of a marble bar - serenely, precisely slicing the freshest fish into spectacular creations.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Sydney. Possibly one of the most expensive too. But in a place like Sydney you get what you pay for.

You can either sit at the sushi bar and watch all of the chefs prepare all of the food you are about to consume - which is actually very cool. They use a blow torch to cook alot of the sushi. However if you are after more intimate dining you can sit at any one of the tables on the edge of the restaurant. This is more appropriate for a date or if you have private matters to discuss. You would think that not being a huge seafood fan would make dining at Sushi-e difficult but it doesn't. There are a lot of non seafood options and even I was encouraged to try some of the cooked seafood and to my surprise it was delicious!

Was very lucky to book a seating here just few hours ahead of openning. I didn't know what to expect but was totally blown away by the presentation and quality of the food.
Very warm smiling staff to help with anything from ordering to just plain chatting if needed. Quite pricy but you know you will be having the best all round tasting food.
Once dinner is over, head off to the big bar on the same level for some fantastic cocktails

Sushi E has a weloming feel mixed with professional approach. The seating on a communial table that surrounds the chefs who prepares delicate food infront of your eyes. This offers entertainment as well as as a conversation piece. The food is a modern japanese style fusion and is made with fresh tasty incredients. It is rather pricey so be prepared but is well worth the spend.

Superb quality fish transformed into mouth-watering sushi makes Sushi E the ultimate Sushi bar. The atmosphere is elegant and the sushi preparation makes for lively entertainment. The location next to the Hemisphere bar is ideal for a before and after cocktail. Yum!

You sit at the sushi bar in full view of the chef's skills, which is really impressive with the blow torch they use to cook sushi. The food is so fresh and tasty, you keep wanting more. Highly recommend the miso cod and the spicy scallops, you won't be disappoint. Will definitely be making another trip back.
