DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They make so many mistakes, dont turn up when they are suppose to and workmanship is rubbish! Have been out 4 times, keep making mistakes, wish I had read the reviews prior to using!!!
This is the only company that I know of that openly gives you the impression that they don't care, I had some blinds being replaced, quote & measure was ok and then it starts, couldn't tell me when they were coming not even morning or afternoon, (will ring you back), don't believe that one! Rang again early the morning they were due to come (will ring you back) some of the staff I spoke to are just rude and the others well (will ring you back) by 4pm rang and asked where was the staff! ( answer - can't find staff will ring u back) who these days can't find their own representatives??? Took time off work for nothing and then had to do it all again. Any normal company would offer to be there the next day to make up for what happened, no not this one, not in the area till next week. They don't compromise at all and don't know the meaning of Customer Service, I will not use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone that was a friend.
Dealing with this company was a nightmare... I was supposed to have 2 screen doors installed by Sydney Blinds and Screens. The installation did not go ahead because the company ordered the wrong screen doors. The result of this was I came home from work for the installation at 12.30pm which was a complete waste of my time. Sydney Blinds and Screens did not call me to sort this out or apologize, I had to call them and wait on hold for 20+ minutes. There was no compensation offered for my time and the late installation of the doors. Incompetence + Poor customer service = Get your doors some place else.
Hopeless customer service! Measure and quote went fine, but installation, what a joke! Only available between 9 and 2:30!! Organized for them to call a neighbour, that didn't happen, they called my wife at work instead. No caller ID, no message. Left a card in the door. When called, could only offer to come back on week later!
It's only a small job, but their customer installation service terrible! I wish I had read these reviews before!
Very poor customer service.Paid a deposit and they said they would be out in 7 days to check measure. It took them 14 days to confirm a date and then they did not even turn up on the day arranged and head office advised that they could not 'find' the person who was supposed to visit.
I cancelled the order and still awaiting a refund.
I had a very very bad experience with this company. I have the older style "pop-out" windows in my home so ordered some flyscreens with the little door on them so I could assess my windows. It took six weeks after ordering and paying for my screens (and after calling them many times, they told me it would be 2 weeks max) for them to come and install my screens. Out of 6 windows, 4 of them did NOT FIT. The staff blamed their coworker who has previously took the measurements and remeasured and said correct size frames would be ready in 2 weeks. 4 weeks later they finally came to install them and again 2 of them DID NOT FIT. All in all it took another 2 attempts to finally get all the screens in. I don't understand why it was so difficult. Also on the final install I was told they would arrive between 8am and 12pm. At 1pm I called to ask when they were coming and the staff I spoke to was incredibly rude to me, actually refused to let me speak to their management when I asked. Very very disappointed with every aspect service, and to top it all off the little door bits on my screens have all broken off within a few weeks. I give up !!
They didn't turn up but claimed they did. Then when we rescheduled they turned up late and took 3 times as long as they were supposed to, and didn't complete the job. Worst of all they will do nothing to compromise with you, they only install at certain times, and if it's not good for you then it's too bad. Do not used..
Do NOT deal with this company - we ordered 2 blinds, both arrived the wrong size, even though we had people out on several occasions to measure. The staff is rude and unprofessional and could not care less. Noone calls back, installers and measurers just don't show, and they never give a time when they will come (you can call and ask on the day - just don't make the mistake and rely on what they say). Overall absolutely horrible experience, wish I would have never dealt with them. Needless to say we are still missing a blind even though we have paid 80% of the overall amount. What a disgraceful company!
Blinds were beautiful, exactly what I wanted and were almost half the price of our high street retailer. I'm will be ordering blinds for the whole house over the next few months and will buy them all from Sydney Blinds.
Btw i had a smooth transaction and had given free measurement and installation!
