Dr Karl Ng, MBBS (Hons 1), FRCP, FRACP, CCT Clinical Neurophysiology (UK) holds a Staff Specialist Neurologist appointment at the Royal North Shore Hospital, and is the Director of Dept of Neurophysiology. He is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer for Sydney Medical School, University of Sydney. His special interests include neurophysiological testing techniques (nerve conduction/EEG/EP), botolinum toxin injection for medical disorders, diagnosis and management of peripheral disorders of nerve and muscle, and multiple sclerosis. Graduating from the University of NSW with 1st class honours, Dr Ng qualified as a neurologist under the Australian training program. Neurophysiology subspecialty training was attained in the United Kingdom at the prestigious National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London. Research interests include a doctoral NHMRC funded project utilising novel axonal excitability testing. He is also a committee member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists, and fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and the Royal College of Physicians (London).
