Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on the hottest day of 2013 was full. They were slowly letting people in tot he centre but the main pool was closed for contests or something. We did manage to get in and have a good time.
The kids enjoyed there day here to no end. Although I thought it was a little expensive once I realized we were going to be there for the whole day and they would be entertained for the day, it was worth it. I am definitely thinking of putting my kids into the swim class here despite it being a bit of a distance from home.
Perhaps a little pricey, but there's something for everyone here - the kids will have a ball in the kids pool with all sorts of splashing toys & a circular wave pool, and the adults can do laps or splash around in deeper water. There's also public spas & (think for an extra fee) a sauna. Both kids have had swimming lessons there & been helped + really enjoyed it, friendly instructors.
Great pool, Really good facilities, and lots of fun for everyone. Olympic Park aquatic centre is a reall big pool. They have diving pools, lap pools, rapids, slide and kiddies pools. They also offer lessons for the kids. Great day out.
It's the best swimming pool around, great facilities, and particularly for winter. I never had any irritations with water there. The spa is wonderful though you have to queue up first. Even the cost is a little higher, it's definitely worth going for.
