We use one of Brisbane's foremost coffees - Veneziano - crafted in Westend and made by barristas for barristas. Fresh juices, smoothies and frappes also available. We offer a fantastic selection of cakes and sandwiches made daily from our deli cabinet. We make all our sauces and preserves in house. Offering catering for any occasion. inc meeting platters, function food and sandwich platters. The venue is available to hire for parties or we can come to you. Most of our menu can be taken away.

REFRESHING surrounds and a serious brekkie menu are some of the ideas on Symposium Cafe's agenda
Weekend breakfasts are no longer seen simply as a mop-up session following a hard night. Saturday and Sunday mornings are now bona fide dining opportunities, and the dining public's expectations have risen beyond greasy bacon and eggs, or pancakes drowned in imitation maple syrup. If you doubt breakfast's new status, consider this - Brisbane now offers a breakfast degustation, a four-course dining event that costs $45 a head, including tea and coffee, at Symposium, a fresh new eatery at the Teneriffe end of Fortitude Valley. And they're not kidding here, it's a serious menu, featuring homemade granola, hot smoked salmon, a "petit" fry-up with quail eggs and sweet brioche with strawberries and bourbon cream. I'd love to try it, but with kids in tow we decided we probably couldn't give the experience the requisite time and attention, so it was the general menu (which is available all day) for us.
