I've been here a few times, and it seems to have changed a bit at my most last visit, though maybe because it was my first evening visit, when they sell alcohol . The food was good, though it was the wine that was a bit pricier, I think my friend said there's often live music at night, in that case you don't mind paying more for the entertainment via food and wine prices .
Tablespoon has become an institution on the lower north shore. The coffee is to die for and the food is cafe food at its finest. I disagree with the previous review about value and size of meals. I had breakfast/brunch at Tablespoon with my sisters, parents and gradparents just before christmas. I did appreciate the ample parking and the nice atmosphere but was dissapointed with the value. I can't believe I never came here earlier! Came with a girlfriend on a Saturday morning after finding out that out usual cafe was closed. This place was packed! Lots of parents with their children.
