Taree Craft Centre is a not-for-profit group which promotes local craft people and their handmade handicrafts. We also play an important role within the Manning Valley community.

We are located at three great locations in Taree, on the Mid-North Coast of NSW:

1) Taree Craft Cottage & Coffee Shop - This is a heritage cottage at Cnr High & Pulteney Streets, Taree. Hours: Mon - Fri 9.30 am to 4 pm,  Sat 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
This lovely historical building provides the perfect setting to showcase the craft of the Manning Valley. This is the ideal place to shop for that perfect gift for any occasion. There are also 2 large classrooms where regular craft classes are held. At the front of the building is the Cottage Cafe serving morning & afternoon teas and light lunches.

2) Taree Craft Centre - North Shop - This is a shop adjoining Manning Valley Visitor Information Centre, Manning River Drive, Taree North (Chatham). Hours: Seven Days 9.30 am to 4 pm.
On display is a smorgasbord of beautiful Handcrafted Gifts. Ample parking for cars, coaches & caravanners. Ideal spot to break your journey, use the rest rooms and buy some lovely local handicrafts. Bus & Tour Group Bookings can be arranged, including Morning & Afternoon Teas.

3) Taree Craft Centre - Centerpoint Arcade Shop - A boutique gift shop in busy Centerpoint Arcade, off Victoria Street, Taree City (opp. Spotlight). Mon - Fri 10 am to 3 pm.
Conveniently located near the rear carpark of Centerpoint Arcade, we have a range of beautiful Handcrafted Gifts available for you to purchase on your next trip into town.

Our large classrooms accommodate ongoing classes in Patchwork/quilting, knitting, crochet, tatting, and scrapbooking. There may also be vacancies in the many self help groups who meet regularly in our rooms. These include lace makers, cake decorators, patchworkers, porcelain artists, and Papercraft artists. These groups welcome enquiries from new members.

The highlight of the year is our annual Craftathon with around 40 quality exhibitors displaying, demonstrating and selling their exquisite crafts. Next Craftathon is 3rd & 4th AUGUST 2013 (Saturday & Sunday).
