    Taren Point Hotel is on my list of regulars. I went here with my family last week and enjoyed some delicious meals (plural - I had to taste a bit of what everyone else had...) My husband devoured his steak, as usual; I had my favourite, the pumpkin, sage and goats cheese ravioli and the rest of the family left with smiles on their faces. This place gets busy, so if you have a group, it's a good idea to book ahead and with all the deals you can get (1/2 price cocktails and 2-for-1 meal deals), this is one popular place that you don't want to miss. Meals are huge and excellent value - always a popular place with my friends and their hungry boyfriends.

    I have visited Taren Point Hotel many times now and have never been disappointed with the selections of food for dinner at such a good price. The menu changes with the season and there are always different specials on the board. I would definitely recommend the pumpkin, sage and goats cheese ravioli and the chicken schnitzel which is huge. I like that the setting is casual which is great for catching up with friends over dinner especially on warm nights in the outdoor area and theres is a special play area for kids so they aren't screaming and running around everywhere. Just remember to get there early for a table or make a booking for larger groups.
    Also gotta love the 1/2 price cocktails on Fri and sat nights from 8pm.

    Met my sister and friend for a quick lunch here today and was really impressed with both how quickly the food came out and the flavour.. . I had the warm Thai beef salad with noodles and it tasted so fresh and yummy with just enough chilli for the wow factor but without being to hot, really enjoyed it.. My sister had the Nachos which was huge and my friend had the chicken schnitzel burger which looked awesome.. My lunch friends were as impressed as i was .. would come again for sure for a quick tasty mid week lunch that is also well priced..

    ps i liked also on the menu how they had a separate section named "healthy choice" for salads plus grilled meats and fish etc plus gluten free choices ;) something for everyone thats for sure..

    We had a quick, late lunch here yesterday and the food was fantastic. The servings were very generous and priced very reasonably. We only had limited time so really appreciated the speed of service at this bistro. The chilli prawn and rocket risotto is a definite winner as are the duck spring rolls and chicken boscaiola. Thanks for a great lunch!
