My partner and I went to the Taringa medical centre, it was the worst bedside manner we have ever experienced, the doctor was unbelieveably unhelpful. We were charged a $75 consultant fee fornothing in the end. Would not go again to save my life.
The clinic is privately billing and costs more on night and week ends so consider this when making your appointment. I have been here on many occassions and the experiences are quite variable. The reception staff are generally quite friendly. The wait times have been up to 30 minutes. And the doctors are a bit mixed - some terrible and some very friendlyread more
Customer service at the front desk does not exist, especially the younger one with the dark long hair. The doctors inside will prescribe steroids and antibiotics (even to toddlers) as if they are giving away candy. Not to mention the hour plus wait Do yourself a ding times. Just go to the Toowong Village clinic if you don't hate yourselves.
I am extremely surprised to hear a handful of bad reviews on this site. I have been to this practice more times than I can count. Always great medical advice and always accommodating. In fact, I note significant changes in the reception area and staff since my first time attendance in 2008. Particular mention to Dr Baillie. He's an excellent doctor and I don't mindread more
I have been visiting this medical centre for around 5 years and have had predominantly very good service. I see a particular doctor, but have on occasions had to see other doctors after hours or on weekends and have always left feeling positive.They charge you for visits, however they are upfront about this and there are no surprises. I have always been pleased with this practice. The staff are always pleasant and do there best to address your needs. Further more, at least 80% of the time, they are on time with their appointments, which is more than I can say for any other practice I have visited :)
Terrible and never again. Waited over 45mins for a appointment I had prebooked, checkin staff clearly forgot. Then on the way about got scolded by the staff at your payment desk - terrible customer service
